NEW WORKS talk on November 7, 11 a.m. at Muffatwerk | Ampère
In TESTLAUF, Anna Konjetzky would like to put the performers together with the audience into a type of testing ground. She initiates a pilot project where the first test persons for new spatial situations and building a community are the audience. The choreographer establishes an open space which doesn't predetermine any directions, but rather only gradually works - and constantly shifts – with different perspectives, closings, and restrictions. A space that continuously changes and therefore creates new spaces, new situations for the dancers, new obstacles, and thus of course at the same time also new associations for the audience and new narrations. TESTLAUF is constructed like an active contemplation of public spaces and of the community in urban structures.
